Rota Taro Orat

I’m an amateur tarot reader myself. I love the symbology associated and I guess we all need things to turn to when we just don’t know what to do. So I started this personal project with the goal of trying to match tarot’s universe with strict vectorial visuals. It was an interesting exploration of symbols, and I did end up digging and noticing more and more details on the original cards. In tarot, each deck (wands, cups, swords and pentacles) is associated with an element, so that was also the inspiration for the restrictive colour palette. The results were later featured in an exhibition in Dinamo10, in Viana do Castelo.
