Discovering Colors

This article was published in Gerador Magazine in a time where many had to face drastic changes in their lives: due to the pandemic many Portuguese lgbtqia+ people were forced to leave the urban centers where they lived in order to return to their families' homes.

This was the starting point for a conversation about acceptance and understanding regarding these social matters in Portugal, where the interior is both aging and losing its population.

For me, it was an opportunity to represent both the lgbtqia+ community along traditional Portuguese symbols, such as the "Viana earrings" and the Barcelos rooster.

It was also an opportunity to rethink and develop complex concepts that are key to this theme.

Thank you!
